Hi Cousins! - King Henry III is my 23rd g-grandfather through the Montagu (Montague, Montacute) and Tyrrell (Terrill, Terrell) lines. Of course, after this many generations, millions of us are genetically related, although not along the same lines.

Actually, descendants of kings amount to approx 8000/10.000. The only lines that matter are direct- ish and on how many generations of them one has in a tree.

I have known i am a direct decent of John Lackland and his half brother William Longspree on my mother' side bit now i have a connect via Henry the 3rd, my 19 th great grandfather, on my father's side.

Hello !! He's my 21st GGF - on one of my lineages. I do have many double maternal and paternal royal lineage great-grandparents. My parents marriage merged several lineages. When I get to Heaven I will ask my grandparents "What the heck were you thinking?" My Moseley / deBerkely grandmother was very clear we should only marry certain people, I thought she meant a certain social class, she meant blood lines! My first cousin recently informed me of this fact! ugh! They were marrying cousin's!!! Not healthy! The Moseley men did not live long healthy lives- heart problems! We now know of a genetic mutation we carry and take appropriate supplements. We don't intermarry cousin's - Ha I tell my grandchildren they should take DNA test before marriage to be sure they're not too closely related!
