I think Ada is there by mistake - she is supposed to have married *William* de Boteler, 5th Baron Warrington (Abt 1160-1233), son of Sir Richard and Beatrix.

In 1216, William Pincerna (le Boteler) paid a fine for the King's licence for having several years before having taken Ada de Furneys (Workington) as a wife. (Lancashire Pipe Rolls, p. 185 (permission for her to marry whom she would, 1205-06) and 257 (William owes the Crown a charger for having married her, 1213-1215 ). Pipe Rolls state she was the widow of William le Fleming of Furness (son of Michael le Fleming), and give the widoww's name as "Ada or Aline". https://archive.org/stream/lancashirepiper00exchgoog#page/n201/mode...

Moved and merged Ada (Ada of Workington, Ada de Furness, and Ada de "Fumys" are all the same person).

History, as Josephine Tey so aptly observed, isn't in accounts, it's in account books. :-)
