Nathaniel Baker - Wrong Nathaniel Baker attached to Abigail Conkling

Looks like Private User created both profiles so I would like to give him the time to address that.

Okay, but note birth year for second Nathaniel Baker is 1743, twenty-three years after his "wife's" birth.

Hi, I inherited the tree from "Underwood" when it was abandoned, so I don't really know anything about it. But I've found a source for the Baker family and I'll try to match the tree with it: https://books.google.com/books?id=woQ-AAAAYAAJ&pg=PA244

The trouble is that there are two related but different Nathaniel Bakers married to two different Abigail Conklings. I believe I've sorted it out, but let me know if you find anything wrong again.

Thanks, Private User--great source find! It seems to suggest we've got the children of Abigail Baker and her Nathaniel mixed up with children born to another Baker in NJ. At least, as I read the text, the Nathaniel married to Abigail Conkling (who the text calls Nathaniel 5) had a son Nathaniel with his first wife, Esther Osborn, and 10 children with Abigail C, Daniel b.2/3/1767, Ananias b. 8/27/1768, Mary b.1/13/1771, Esther b. 5/11/1773, Abigail b. 3/15/1775, Catherine b. 3/30/1777, Hannah b. 4/22/1779, Henry b. 7/29/1781, Sophia b.4/26/1784, and Elizabeth b. 7/20/1786. These are not the same children currently listed for these parents. Also the dates are off. I think we are looking for the Nathaniel the Baker book calls Nathaniel 4, about whom it gives no further info. I'll do some poking around to see if I can figure any of this out, but currently, what we have is clearly wrong.

Then there's this: http://longislandsurnames.com/getperson.php?personID=I04284&tre... Several entries for Abigail b. 3/3/1721 indicate she married Nathaniel Baker of Elizabethtown, NJ, so that family must have moved away from LI after their first children were born.

According to the LI surnames, there was another Abigail Conklin[g] b.1748, dau. of Ananias Conklin[g] who married another Nathaniel Baker. This is Nathaniel Baker 5 shown in the Baker book, I believe, as the children appear to be the same as shown in th Baker book. I may have moved some children around erroneously as I tried to figure this out, for which I apologize, but I think this is now correct. Can you fix?
