Good to meet more relatives! The Geni site says he is my 12th great grandfather's wife's great grandfather.

Geni says that he is my 5th cousin, 14 times removed.

Geni can create some rather peculiar linkages and seems to have done so (at the moment) between Dan Bodenheimer and myself. Geni is now showing such a circuitous path that I can't begin to follow it, but previously we were closely related! However -- thanks to Geni's information, I find that Jacques Paquin (on this discussion) and myself are 11th cousins, twice removed, and by tracing this connection back, I came across my 11th great-grandmother, Munkele (Mingle) Gelhäuser (Bad/Blad/Blat). She was born sometime between 1499 and 1619 and died on March 11, 1625 in Frankfurt Am Main. Jacques Paquin -- you are Munkele Gelhäuser's 10th great-nephew. :)
