I have merged the Bridget's as they are obviously the same person

Discrepancies exist for her husband William ANDERSON

Notes on the Geni profiles have identified him as two different William's.

William ANDERSON, son of James ANDERSON and Janet HEGGIE, arriving on "Countess of Harcourt" in 1822 as a convict

William ANDERSON, son of David ANDERSON, arriving on "Red Rover" as a ships carpenter.

Margaret and Private User, can you provide any further information or substantiation on either sets of parents or arrival information?

Bridget's son William (Edward) Anderson has discrepancies on his parents

- Birth certificate has William ANDERSON and Bridget MEADE
- death certificate has David ANDERSON and Annie MAIDEN

The death certificate information was provided by Leslie NORDSTORM who is his grandson

I believe you can’t trust what’s has been said on a death certificate, as other people did not know, nor did they remember, that’s if they were even told who their parents were. Through my research I have never come cross this before.

I Shirley have attached a document to William Anderson who was born 5 September 1804 Kingsbarns Fifeshire Scotland:
This document said that he, William Anderson, Shipwright, native of Kingsbarns Fifeshire Scotland died 17th May 1839 aged 35 years old also Jane, infant daughter of William and Bridget Anderson died 26th December 1839 aged 10 months old.

This was found in “The book listing Headstones from the Old Sydney Grounds”
