I have been researching and found that Akarius had only two sons. Their names were Harveus fitz Akarius and Walter. There is no mention of a William.

At that, Walter doesn't seem to have left any descendants. Was he perhaps a churchman, or just unlucky?

There seem to be some weird shenanigans from here down: Eve Camerarius

"Hugh FitzHenry" marries the same woman and has the same children as Henry FitzHervey. There is a Hugh FitzHervey among the younger brothers, but no wife or children recorded.

Working this, with the assistance of some pages based at UMich that appear to give some clues: http://www-personal.umich.edu/~bobwolfe/gen/person/g25739.htm

Cracroft's Peerage http://www.cracroftspeerage.co.uk/online/content/fitzhugh1321.htm traces seven Barons FitzHugh of Ravensworth - the seventh, George FitzHugh, died without heirs (and no known male-line relatives either) in 1513, and the title went into abeyance.

Something else that transpired is that there is *no* traceable connection between the FitzHervey/FitzHugh line of Yorkshire and the FitzHugh line of Bedfordshire and Virginia. The latter were tenant farmers until the acquired enough money to start buying up land.
