The Alternative birthplace listed as "Edgerton, Kent County, England" is an error. That was the birth place of his wife, Jane Lothrop/Lathrop and it isn't even spelled correctly here or on her page. It's EGERTON without the "d'".

Also father down the page under SECOND GENERATION it's spelled "Edgerry". Some trees online have the creative "Edgerly or Edgerley." These days we can't tell if the error originated on Ancestry and was copied to the "contributed" IGI, AF and PRF's on LDS or vice versa. They're both wrong.

Seen in the About section...... These 3 sentences are about his Uncle Samuel not THIS Samuel
"Mayflower passenger. Owned a large house in Plymouth compound identified as Samuel's. Physician to 'Plimouth Plantation'."

It says in the text, "His only child was Samuel', who came with his father on the Mayflower." Error . Samuel was not his only son.

Repeat for people still looking -- We do NOT know his mother's name.
Search Third Supplement (published 2003) to Torrey's "New England Marriages Prior to 1700" for EDWARD FULLER His wife's first name has been removed (Torrey never had a last name for her) and her first and last names are now two blank ______ lines ______ at http://search.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=49372 .

Ancestry's Green Leaf Hint for Mrs. Fuller's name is using the 2004 REPRINT of the original 1985 edition using Torrey's pre-1963 notes.

Search 2 blank ____ lines _____ for Edward Fuller;s wife at " Great Migration . . .." p712 (image #787) pub by NEHGS in 1995.

Overview updated.

The Fuller tree is getting sloppy.

- disconnected Capt. Stephen Fuller, Jr from the Salem family

Do not know where he belongs.

I have the Fuller line on Family Search and I don't recall seeing a Captain Samuel Fuller either.

Anyone have documentation for his birth date? Where did April 8 come from? Oh, wait. Let me guess. Yup--I just looked it up. From the first few hits on "Genealogies" on Family Search. The ones that say he was born

8 April 1612
Of,Egerton,Kent,England

and christened

29 September 1614
Edgeley,,Kent,England

https://familysearch.org/search/tree/results?count=20&query=%2B...~

Again, someone got him confused with his wife.

So yet another birth date copied from LDS bites the dust. Didn't someone in Plymouth record that Samuel was about 12 years old when he was on the Mayflower? I'll have to look that up in my spare time. Hee heee.
