Dar curators, please consider isolating this tree as well: https://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000003240817840?to=600000019... duplicates mostl MPs, and no new information

The duplicate is Private -- and is managed by an inactive claimed historical profile: King Temenus of Macedon .

Tyrimmas, king of Macedonia

King Tyrimmas of Macedon

Something is very wrong with this one, I think a bad merge somewhere may have created the problem of husbands with the same name though 40 years apart in age. Or a clerical or textual error.

If merged - will be issues at 4th generation
John Matthews Born when mother was 48, 25 years after her last child born. Highly unlikely.

This tree goes down to John Mitton (MP) vs John Mitton, Esq. (new). The "new" profile has a daughter who is NOT mentioned in the sourcing for the MP.

Please see https://www.geni.com/discussions/272643?msg=1669659. A case of incorrect parents in late 1500s.
I won't touch this.

Private User - More from the Lawrence line that you have already isolated:
Joan Thayer is the second profile from the same user who created the previously isolated line.

This conflict came about as the result of a recent merge which may or may not have been correct?

BTW

I still dont think that these dupes got handled.

Randolph De Cocton, Lord of Evesham

I could just merge them?

Kind of new to this and this may sound like a stupid question. How does one know which profile is isolated and which one is not isolated?

Howard Norman Lord Jr. I think it's a reasonable question.

When you look at a Merge Comparison, for example:

https://www.geni.com/merge/compare/6000000004669233629?to=600000020...

Scroll down to the bottom where the decision is made whether or not to merge the presumed duplicates, and if one is isolated there will be a pink banner stating:

"These profiles cannot be merged because one of them is in a tree that has been marked isolated."

Then if you take an individual look at the duplicates, one of them should have a pale green banner at the very top of the page, stating:

"This tree has been isolated from other trees on Geni: Tree contains duplicates that should be deleted."

For example: King John Stanley

(I was having trouble for awhile, due to forgetting to scroll down on the merge compare page, thus missing the cue.)

https://www.geni.com/search/matches?id=6000000000683788281&src=profile&cmp=btn - One side was added today.
The stick-and-spouse tree stops duplicating at Jacob Woodman (old) vs Jacob Woodman (new). It continues down to the user, who joined today.

still conflicts,
still abandoned conflicts on Alonso de Valencia Acuña

but with (C) Erica Howton we had fixed them on February 30th..

in March https://www.geni.com/people/Felipe-Gonzyet another conflicting merge%C3%A1lez-de-Otoya-De-Narv%C3%A1ez/6000000004861400406 !?

-----------
now nearby on:
Gracia Fernández, de Zamora

the profile documented in her info-about " Gracia Fernández "
becomes without explanation "Esperanza Rodríguez de Olivares"

explanations that you may also have, and which you will now start copying and pasting here or private messages.

But if you really like modifying the Middle Ages, you must also make yourself want to leave something written there
