I am receiving this msg every day, is there something wrong? I am not merging anymore but I also don't know if I have doubles, I am new at this.

ah, a great GEDCOM had merged in the area in 2022..
I made the connections and merged what added something,
but now I have 44 duplicate profiles left, isolated ready to delete TNX:

if you are new and continuously receive notifications of this discussion, one of the greatest provableities could be that if you added very old profiles, they were already present on Geni (which is a single large shared world tree) and "assistance" was requested here to merge, cut, fix, arrange... etc etc :D

the system notified you, now at the top, next to reply, there is a green arrow that says "do not follow" (or something like that in our respective translated languages:)

This one is peculiar imho. Duplicate MPs, with the daughter of one married to the son of the other. Also note that the married children share variations of the same given name (Alvar and Elvira).

The married children have only one child, Rodrigo Alvarez de las Asturias and this child with zero? credentials has 10,000 descendants.

One of their direct descendants is Ordoño Alvarez de las Asturias, Gobernador de Asturias who married D. Elvira García de Bragança
