Interestingly, the DNA could throw some light on this (I'm going to start another thread on DNA testing). The possibility that Comerford Y DNA goes back through the Salian Franks might fit with a man going by the name of "le Teuton", but Baldric's sons are also said to be the start of such prestigious families as the Nevilles, Baskervilles and Dandos and I don't know of any evidence to support this. However, it is a testable hypothesis.
