Willie Nelson is my husband's fifth great aunt's husband's aunt's husband's first cousin 8 times removed.

He sure has come a long way from "The Ernest Tubb Show", sporting a crew cut and suit and tie, that I watched as a child. What a talented man!!

If that wert the case I don't think I would of paid full price for a ticket the times I have seen him. I wouldn't of given that much for a t-shirt. I would of went to his birthday party when I lived near him. Sure, were both handsome devils, have that certain twinkle in our eyes, and our voices are soothing, red headed, have a few authority problems....yeah

uh yeah, OK, so I went to where the message came from, and it was a little different there, alot of documentation to pour through, his DNA is not public that I can find, and I guess he and I need to sit down and talk about this.

Kinda puts it in a different light this way. The DNA is right, there is no way of getting around that. My genealogy is not perfect, but so many others have made sure it will be when it unfolds-people been working on this for 50 years, and it was pretty much set when I got here-my addition only got me and ancestors lined up to reach the world tree, no inclusions.

And I'm going to say thats close in some respects, but not exactly 2nd cousins. I'm glad thats not my "claim to fame" as I have seen some do with "cousin" hook ups.
