Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my Jo, for auld lang syne,
we’ll tak' a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.

And surely you’ll buy your pint cup! and surely I’ll buy mine!
And we'll take a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my Jo, for auld lang syne, we’ll tak' a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
We two have run about the slopes, and picked the daisies fine;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot, since auld lang syne.
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my Jo, for auld lang syne, we’ll tak' a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
We two have paddled in the stream, from morning sun till dine;
But seas between us broad have roared since auld lang syne.
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my Jo, for auld lang syne, we’ll tak' a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.
And there’s a hand my trusty friend! And give me a hand o’ thine!
And we’ll take a right good-will draught, for auld lang syne.
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my Jo, for auld lang syne, we’ll tak' a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne.

And. Happy New Year to you, also, Cousin Bill. Tonight, I will ring in the New Year with a bottle of New Glarus Brewing Company's ale called "Fat Squirrel" and hope it doesn't give me a headache--my allergy to hops limits me!!

And, an Irish Blessing for all of our Geni family:
May you always have...
Walls for the winds
A roof for the rain
Tea beside the fire
Laughter to cheer you
Those you love near you
And all your heart might desire.

Sincere wishes for a Happy New Year,

Susie
