re: Shipley's in the Lincoln lineage keep periodically trying to sneak in ... that's why I spent some time a couple of years ago MP all the surrounding family profiles so it'd be easier to spot "interlopers" <smile>.

I remember that, Dan. An example of very fine curating for us all.

This news is one of the few mtDNA studies I have seen, may there be more to come.
