I think there are still at least 2 different François Dubois that have been merged together and I think it was too long ago to un-merge the two. I think it must of been before these revisions were made

I don't think & I feel you do not think the same François Dubois was involved with both Jeanne DeSalignac & Claude Fayenne.
So I will enter a new profile for another François (Jan Dubois who was partner with Claude Fayel parents of François Dubois dit Lafrance, I & listed in reference as the husband of Gillette Mouessan. Moving over François Dubois dit Lafrance, I as son of Claude Fayenne & the new François Dubois.
Please any managers who were for the François Dubois who was partner of Claude Fayel parents of François Dubois dit Lafrance, I please request management of the new profile François "Jan" Dubois, (Sieur Du Bosc)

Listed on Chrétien Maximillien du Bois About section, within the long double space section is.
"The Rev. W. Twyman Williams, Minister of the College Church, Hampden-Sydney, Virginia, suggested as a result of his research that Chretien possibly had at least two additional sons, possibly Antoine and
Isaac, who were older than the children of whom we have definite record."
I can't say I agree or disagree with this, but as is seems this is not from the work of gustave danjou *anjou, I would suggest leaving Isaac DuBois , Albert Pierre DuBois , Louis Du Bois "The Patentee" , Jacques DuBois &Françoise du Bois & Anne DuBois
I don't recall seeing anything in any references/about section about son Philippe DuBois , or Toussaint Du Bois De Fiennes
Can we try and decide which parents are for Chrétien Maximillien du Bois
On on Chrétien Maximillian duBois de Fiennes profile is the Document from Dubois Family Association http://www.geni.com/documents/view/6000000006443885153?doc_id=60000...

I do not know this area and since I do not read or speak French, I do not feel comfortable, even with Google Translate, with editing the profiles, or making them Master Profiles, which would have to be done for them to be locked.
I will ask some of the other Curators with knowledge of French and the French Canadian if they would help.
Martin,
I have already contacted a few Curators for their help, it is not that I believe one or the other references, most of what I see is in French which I cannot read or understand well.
I think the Curators I have asked for help will understand what is need to be done to help you with the profiles. I am sorry I could not help you better.
Isaac DuBois was disconected from chretien dubois. and dont have a brother name Louis dubois
no records i had to do it!

Chrétien Maximillien du Bois

Chrétien du Bois (1597-1655) was a French official in the Comté of Coupigny.
He was the father of three Protestant French-speaking immigrants to colonial New York.[1] One of these, Louis Dubois, was among the founders of New Paltz, New York, in the late 1600s.[2]
Chretien du Bois was the son of Antoine du Bois and Anne Cousin, and was married to Françoise le Poivre.[3]
Chrétien Maximillian duBois de Fiennes, Marquis de Fiennes's parents were changed to Pierre DuBois and Francoise DuBois by Marsha Gail (Kamish) Veazey.
