Our Facebook Group, “Jewish South Philly - Social Networking & Genealogy” <https://www.facebook.com/groups/SouthPhillyJewryGen/>, has recently increased its charter to include genealogical discussions. Under that new charter, we will happily take queries about Jewish South Philadelphia genealogy from folks outside our group, and attempt to answer their questions. We will try to answer any question, but we are most knowledgeable about Jewish South Philly from the 1950’s onward, and expect to be most helpful answering questions about synagogues, stores, cemeteries, schools, and families. We currently have 317 members in our group, most are not genealogists, but all are very happy to help. We look forward to the fun and challenge.
