There are 2 trees in geni.com for Abiathar Richmond. There are also two sets of parents. Also in the DAR database, there is information regarding Abiathar. His father and grandfather are also Patriots of the American Revolution. Going by the information in DAR, your tree will need to be changed. See the links below:

It's also curious that both of these profiles are Master Profiles.

It is the Abiathar of Maine that Mary Sanford Drexler is related to, and which matches the FindAGrave record.

Both Abiathar's have been added to the Geni project.

I straighted out the two Abiathar Richmonds the best I could. I used the information on the profiles and also what I found in the DAR database. I think I have the kids with the correct parents.

Mary Sanford Drexler, I identified 7 Patriots of the American Revolution, and that was just on your Dad's side of the family. If you know of others, send me a link and I will be happy to add them. Also, I can show you how to look them up in the DAR database.

I saw some Mayflower passenger ancestry in your tree also, Mary, so made a couple of connections. We're related here through the Shepherd's.

This is all very exciting. I will check my patriots. My dad's side of the family is rich with historic figures. Yes, I have several direct ancestors who came on the Mayflower. I will continue to research and update.

If there's Richmonds in your tree, you pretty much have Mayflower ancestry. :D Things got much easier once I hit my Richmonds!
