Hey cousins,
So I'm pitching the Global Family Reunion is getting pitched to the Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan show.
Any way we could try to link these two together?
I saw that Kelly has an MP but I don't think Michael does.

Thank you @Erica ! What do you think? How's the prognosis? My producer friend wants to tell them about it next week. Any chance we could connect Kelly and Michael by Monday or so? Or is that crazy talk?

By the way! I just got an email from Abby Glann that she's connected Kelly on WikiTree. But hasn't made much headway with Michael Strahan yet.

First off - here's your relationship path to Michael Strahan

A.J. Jacobs is Michael Strahan's ex-wife's brother's wife's 12th cousin once removed's ex-wife's first cousin once removed.

It might be difficult to build anything than through his children, because Michael's people originate in a very special American community: a Freedman settlement in deep East Texas.

In fact, he has ancestors whose story has been described as "the most beautiful love story since the Book of Ruth in the Bible. "

So it's time to build Kelly Ripa's tree and see if her folk are as romantic. :)

Ah good news that Abby got Kelly going, I can "port that across."

Wow! Love that Shankle story. Thank you for this. Building through his kids is fine by me...

This was not easy! But going through Kelly's husband, we arrive at some early New England, and therefore

The story ("family tradition") in this profile is interesting ...

(Launcelot Granger, Jr. is Kelly Ripa's husband's grandfather's wife's 7th great grandfather)

Suffield has an interesting history and the Granger family were one of the early settlers. It's one of the communities we have a project for. I have a lot of ancestors from Suffield myself.

I'm hoping to fill in some more lines in this Consuelos tree. It amuses me we went through immigrants from Mexico to arrive in colonial Suffield.
