Please help complete Tree conflicts of
Foucher I, vicomte de Limoges

Resolved.
We're very much trying to stop people merging in duplicates on the Medieval Tree. When the unsourced medieval duplicates get merged in by people who don't have curating tools, it takes us hours and hours -- sometimes days and days -- to clean up the tree conflicts and the data conflicts, as we merge in the rest of the line. Unless you have curating tools, please do not merge in profiles that date before 1500. This high up in the tree the potential for exponential Tree Conflict errors is far more work to fix than lower down. It also leaves the relatively well established Geni Medieval Tree in a permanent state of embarrassing chaos.

INSTEAD Please rather attach to this project: https://www.geni.com/projects/Medieval-Tree-Clean-Up-Please-Park-Un... any unsourced duplicate profiles, & the Medieval Curators will figure out what to do with them.

One oddity remains with James William Gilkeson, Jr.

The DOB I entered vanished, and this appears to be a claimed profile, with no DOB and no manager. Can you confirm that it's claimed? It's only slightly odd because this person is 91 years of age and this would represent the oldest active user of Geni I have encountered in my 4.5 years of membership.

Yes, it is claimed.

Then I stand corrected. I've just been made aware that there are active Geni users over the age of 90. Thanks.

Some are not quite complete yet: I reported two more abandonistas who were the managers of some of the ones you merged. Those two may have been claimed profiles but they haven't been on Geni for 8 years. Customer Service is in process (as of a few moments ago) of making me primary manager of some of the incomplete ones who are married to some of the cloaked ones. I will check back tomorrow to see if I can view or edit some of the cloaked ones arnd amend this discussion if need be.
