Hi GFR Members,

Ethan is a bit of a VIP for us, helping with the documentary. He recently joined Geni and is adding a little of his family. Can we get some of you to jump in and help him build out his tree and get connected to the Big Tree? Thank you!

Discrepancy on a grandmother. He has the wife of Eli Goldman as Minnie Jacobs, but I see a marriage record:

NAME: Eli Goldman
GENDER: Male
RESIDENCE: Portland, ME
SPOUSE'S NAME: Minnie Mack
SPOUSE'S GENDER: Female
SPOUSE'S RESIDENCE: Portland, ME
MARRIAGE DATE: 13 Jun 1936
MARRIAGE PLACE: Maine, USA

Her parents are

Isaac Mack 1855 –
Sarah Goldberg 1860 – 1915

According to this ancestry.com tree
http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/29298207/person/26429540940

And she had had an earlier marriage to an unknown Goldman with a son (b 1938) married Carlene; don't know if accurate.

I might set up this Minnie's parents separately until Ethan can check?

OK, the data I found matches an existing tree on Geni. :)

If Ethan thinks it correct, he needs to merge

into Unknown Profile

And meet his cousin.

If incorrect -- I guess I need more details on the grandparents so I can be more accurate?

And ... we're in.

A.J. Jacobs is Ethan Daniel Goldman's second cousin once removed's husband's 6th great uncle's wife's first cousin's husband's 6th great granddaughter's husband's nephew.

Good work! And lots more to explore, keep building ....

Glad this worked out, and keep building this tree. There are more connections that could be made eventually, I think.
