Custer was reinterred with full military honors at West Point Cemetery on October 10, 1877. The battle site was designated a National Cemetery in 1876

General George Armstrong is my 25th cousin thrice removed we are related through Wladislava i did not know the battle site was a national cemetery thks for posting
