This is fantastic.
The audience loved that Joe was connected to the big tree, and we got a lot of sign-ups and volunteers for the GFR. As for Joe himself, well, he came in at the last minute (or actually late), gave his speech, and then left. So I don't think he even heard he was cousins with me. But he'll find out soon enough! I did get to meet Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, who seemed very nice. He's the kind of man who shakes hands with both hands!
