Thank you Simon (v.ltd.availability) Goodman, I will look.

Faustine

somebody who claims to be Charlemagne in Spanish?
Carlos I del Sacro Imperio Romano

I added Josip Sršen a wife Ana Pera Sršen and now I found out that they weren`t married, but I can`t delete the relation.

I will take a look at it, Tihomir

If you go to Josip his profile and activate tree view, click on the edit button.
Then activate, on top of the pop-up screen, the Relationships button.
After the name Ana Sršen, you can choose the sort of relation via the drop-down menu.

Let me know if you can manage that, ok?

Dimitri Gazan I`ve tried that, but they have nothing to do with each other, and I can`t delete the relation.

Then I will separate them for you Tihomir Dujmović

done :)

Dimitri Gazan thank you

You are welcome

have my posts yesterday (about Carlos I del Sacro Imperio Romano and Isabel de Viseu) been overlooked?

Sorry, Ard van Bergen, but it's solved now.

thanks Dimitri Gazan for sorting out the spouse issue of Isabel, but I just noticed that Erica Howton two minutes later also removed her parents for which I do not understand the reason

Ard van Bergen, I can't answer your question, posted Yesterday at 11:27 AM, I am afraid. Perhaps someone else can.

Dimitri Gazan, it's about "claimed historical profile"
I'm not exactly sure what the rules for that are, but I know that curators can report it to Geni management, and then "something" may be done about it

Ard van Bergen

Oh dear! Thank you. Isabel has been re united with her parents.

Geni Customer Support needs to "un claim" the claimed Charlemagne profile, it's been reported. The tree is not connected to the world tree, & we won't merge until it has been unclaimed, & the Pretender unmasked.

thanks Erica Howton
one more detail: I saw you added a curator note with the full name copied from the displayed name. Unfortunately it is a bit distorted because yesterday I merged three profiles of her into one. A request to resolve the data conflicts has already been sent to Henn Sarv
I think she can simply be called "Isabel de Viseu"

Excellent, I will update accordingly. I added the note to make sure I disconnected the correct Fernando.

yes, it's all fine now as far as I can see

Thank you, Erica Howton, for helping out :)

I take a special interest in keeping all the "Isabel's" sorted. :)

Erica Howton - or anyone else - I think that these tree problems on my notification list are related to a couple of Isabels:

Henry VIII, King of England
(looks like a Spanish version of Anne Boleyn was supposed to have a child Isabel 1)

Constance, Countess of Gloucester
(not too sure what went wrong, but her mother is an Isabella!)

I see that Constance's profile is locked, but not Henry's, as far as I can see... should it be?

lol

Melanie, Constance is a public profile, but I dare not pick up on the Isabella issue.
I will leave that to Erica Howton, or another Isabel with curators permission, ok?

as far as I know, Anna Boleyn (or even Henry VIII with any other wife) did not have a child called Isabel, let alone that there would be a need to number them

No worries Dimitri Gazan - sounds good to me!
:-)

I have merged Ana Bolena with Anne Boleyn and merged the dau. Isabel 1 into Elizabeth I of England.

Not sure what the problem would be with Constance, Countess of Gloucester her mother was Isabella of Castile.

Different Curator's for Henry VIII & Constance of York, it's their choice whether to lock the profiles.

The two Elizabeth Bryan's. Sir Francis Bryan's Sister Elizabeth Carew show's up on Geni as born in 1495, Wiki say's 1500. Elizabeth was said to have been a Mistress of Henry VIII according to rumors at the age of 13 which if she had a child by Henry that child would have been born before her Marriage to Nicholas Carew or up the first few years of Marriage to Carew. Lady Bryan is said to have married Carew in 1516, if she were Henry's Mistress at age 13 the year would have been either 1508 or 1513. I doubt his second Elizabeth Bryan is a love child of Henry's so she probably was mistakenly attached due to having the same name and being born in a similar time period (not close) in the same country.
Elizabeth Carew, Lady Carew
Henry made substantial gifts to Lady Bryan over the years.
After her Marriage, Lady Carew had several Children born between 1520-1530.
Another mystery Elizabeth Bryan shows up on her profile born in 1516 and married to a Thomas Welles. I don't think she is a Sister to Elizabeth Bryan nor a Daughter of Sir Thomas and Lady Margaret not to mention that people don't usually have duplicate names for their Children.
Elizabeth Welles
Lady Margaret is recorded as having two Children only. Sir Francis Bryan and Elizabeth Bryan who married Nicholas Carew.
Is there a way to detach the erroneous family members?
Thank you!

I can't vouch for accuracy but I did find "parents" for Elizabeth Welles & created those profiles. Apparently the curator note attached to her was missed.

I'll have to work on the other children ...
