This profile manager hasn't used his tree since Dec 2014. There is no Abandoned Tree option. (I'm guessing that means it was already reported and there is no one to assign it to). Please add me as the manger for this profile and her spouse. Thank you.

I need assistance in merging duplicate profiles of my 3rd great-grandparents Chaim Pilowicz and Pesa Pilowicz. I am unable to do so because the duplicates are private.

Private User -- curators cannot assign managers, but in this case it's irrelevant, because there are two managers listed on that profile, and one was active yesterday.

That's why there is no Abandoned Tree option -- it's not abandoned.

I could not see some of the children's names, so I assumed that they were the same people given that Chaim's middle name was Raphael and Pesa's was Devorah. Furthermore, their descendants changed/had their names changed when they came to the United States.

In that case, would you be able to disconnect Rose Perlstein from the private profiles.

I also realized that my 3rd great-uncle Harry Perlstein has descendants that are Geni users. When I was merging in some of my profiles of his descendants, I realized that I am unable to merge mine into some of them (they are private and/or have conflicting living statuses). One such profile is Walter Perlstein, who I am 100% certain is deceased.

Aaron William Carpenter I got the Perlstein's cleaned up. You fall well within the family group so you "should" be able to progress in that area now. Post if I'm incorrect about that, as others are better versed in family group rights.

There was a bad merge on one of the wives almost 6 months ago, and multiple merges since. Instead of trying to backtrack that far I've cut the children that belong in my part of the tree, but can't get him cut from the bad parents of Willam Strong and Phyllis Cape.

Thanks for asking that one. I've been trying on and off to do some clean up over the past week but it's slow going. So many problems. I hope someone more familiar with this area will pick it up.

Can some one PLEASE change his name from John to James - there was a link to From Darryl Lundy's Peerage page on only - I went there and it reads JAMES not John

Also I have found several other linage books including Burks that states his name is JAMES not john.
