I think my question yesterday got lost in all the requests that came after it.
I want to add the mothers death notice. Two children are mentioned. Is this profile for Noel or Norman? I want to create a profile for the other child.
Noel Verster
A couple of merges were done in this family yesterday. Jan Frederik Labuschagne In looking at the conflicting data and the Labuschagne family tree there's a problem with the merges. Can somebody please undo the merges.
Undo the merges for Jan Frederik Labuschagne - Please give an answer why this merges must be undone - Looking at conflicting data is no valid reason - look at the documentation from the archives, and the bigger picture. Like his parents who was his wife, his mothers maiden name his death date and of course his estate numbers written on the death notices. https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-DRX3-GXL?i=424&cat... / https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-DRX3-2MH?i=425&cat... & https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000042448914798&
Could a curator please merge (if possible) these abandoned profiles

There will probably also be some duplicates within the living children.
Thanks

Lorraine Garshon Mellon I'm very sorry for you, but the basic principle of Geni is users helping each other to build their family tree. Unless you are only child, and the same for your parents, grandparents, etc. there is no such thing as "Your Tree". You inevitably share it with your siblings, cousins and more distant relatives (effectively everybody).
If you want to work in isolation, you're much better off to do that on your own computer, not on a public website. There is a wide variety of software available to assist you with that.
Lorraine Garshon Mellon, I suggest you address that "someone" - as listed in the "Revisions" tab of the profile in question, by sending him a message. I guess he is a curator. Or address the customer support.
