I am suspicious that either there is a scam going on or they will tamper with the work that my family have done on the family tree. I would be grateful if you could urgently demerge them from our tree. Otherwise I feel that I have to delete all 1,000 or so entries.

Hi Ruth, I am not sure what scam you think could be being run.

I asked to collaborate with you and you declined. This is your right to do so. That is the only conversation you and I have shared prior to late yesterday.

Abraham (Barry) Cohen wife Private User is a claimed profile.

Stanley Hillel is also a claimed profile.

Harry Soffer is managed by Drew Softer and Harry Soffer is managed by Maurice Sonnenworth.

None of the 4 that you mention above are managed by you.

As requested yesterday, if you could send me a link to a profile where it is incorrect, I will happily correct it or attach source documentation.

With regards to Shirley Nadell, I have as you can see from the guest book correspondence with her tried to identify the family she is talking about but as far as I am aware I have am not related to her (nor to any of her family) so I am unsure why she posted that on my guest book.

Possibly she has missed your explanation for why you are so involved in/concerned about so many profiles, and has also missed any explanation you may have given about being willing to yield to the wishes of family members. You approached her, and having checked, she sees you are going gung-ho suggesting lots and lots of merges - and she is worrying -- which actually is reasonable, since not all the gung-ho folks are willing to back off where there are concerned family members who do not wish for that activity.

My suggestion: give her some public reassurance (public, so others who may be similarly worried may also see it) that you are willing to honor family wishes (if I have understood correctly, and you are), and a re-iteration of why so active in requesting merges.

Marko Mustapić wasn't Ivan Mustapić and Marta Mustapić 's son (other children are). They are connected by mistake and now I can't delete that. May someone do it?
