@Private User he seems to have had 2 or more accounts

as evidenced by this profile @Martha Elswick kevin Rea Sexton names appears twice at least in this profile and one is in BLACK other is in grey and struck out

This is making this area a nightmare.

@Alex Moes it was there one of her Profiles was private and the other was Public -
Kevin had both profiles one account was active and the other had his name there in grey and struck-out ( to me Indicating that he has or had at least 2 accounts) I got a message from you or so GENI said but do not see it here - must of deleted it.

I done some merging which matching of helped on the Wicker branch and placed
a listing of all of @John F. Wicker of John's 3 wives and children attributed to them by a MyHertiage tree

Eldon, I had a look at Simon, the profile manager M Lee is abandoned, and any changes I make need her approval

Beta Margaretha Zittlosen This individual is an actual blood relative of mine (7th cousin 1x removed), but the relationship steps are displaying incorrectly (unrelated wife of 3rd cousin 2x removed) and through the wrong path even though I have all of our mutual relatives included in my tree with our common ancestor. To make matters some what confusing, I am also related to Beta's spouse, Johann Arend. have had this issue before, and I believe it has something to do with the merging of profiles. Can you help me resolve it?

I have been working on the Duek Cohen family of Calcutta and a lot of the entries have been put in by Private User and she is the manager. The system is now showing them as abandoned.
Is it possible to move management of her tree to either myself or a curator working on Jews of Calcutta? Sorry not sure of protocols on this.

If you already clicked on abandoned tree and the computer could find no nearby managers, you can go back to the action tab, click on manager options, and request management of that profile.

You may be asked if you want to manage more than one profile, or you may not.

We can't transfer management. Only managers can, except in the case of an abandoned tree, when the computer will try to find a nearby active manager, or another user can step in.

Hi, This person רון מני has abandoned their tree and a lot of the names are in Hebrew. Is it possible for a curator who can read Hebrew, to add in the English translation of the names? I would do it but 1) I can't read Hebrew (although I can run them all thru a translator) and 2) I don't have access.

I tried to do that but it just sends a request to the profile manager but since they are gone there is no-one to approve it so it stays abandoned.

After, yes. In that case no, no new managers. If at some point there are duplicates to merge in, the managers of those profiles will be the managers.

Question: I searched for a person named delete delete. To my surprise, 375 names turned up in the list. Quite a few of them are actually named delete delete. One of my collaborators has noticed that one of these delete delete persons actually deletes other profiles here on Geni. How do we handle this? Any advice?
