Thanks, but to complicate it a little bit more, a bad previous merge have moved a profile who was said to have been born around the year 1405, into this one. Torstein Amundsen Bolt, til Samsal I really do not know how to solve this?

There have been almost 40 updates on Ingegerd since 23/12, and the merge is undone br now, hope you'll find out I think its better I keep away!!

Ingegerd was one of 3 daughters, but how hard is it to let them be separated? Ingeborg and Ingegerd are two completely different profiles, but I guess if someone with severe dyslexia have had a part in some of this 40 updates, that would explain the rest, I guess, still don't know what to do with Torstein Amundsen Bolt, til Samsal . ; )

Hi, I am not sure if this is a merge gone wrong or just a step missed

Manasseh Sykes

But his children all appear duplicated.

Hi Private User,
Two duplicate profiles of Manasseh Sykeswere merged together. If there hed been only the 2 profiles involved there wouldn't have been any duplicates. I merged as many of the duplicates together that i was sure. There may still be some more things to be done like date conflicts and maybe even some more merges.

You just need to realize that you're not alone on Geni since Geni is a ''World Tree' with a huge number of users and more than 100 million profiles connected to each other in one way or another. Manasseh Sykeswere and some of his family members now have 2 managers :-)

Thanks @Ann (Ramsay) Vermeulen

Could a curator please help

John Meany
John Meany

These appear duplicated.

These are also both abandoned - when I click on Abandoned tree, it comes back unable to find replacement manager.

Each also has 2 daughters named Sarah Ann MINNEY - I think the first one (born 1858) must have died and then their next daughter (born 1870) was named the same. So the 1858 child should have a death date of pre 1870.

Thanks for the help

Could a curator please assist,

Lillie Grace Lawler - Gibbs

Lily Grace Gibbs was married twice and had children to each husband. The children from her first husband LAWLER were then raised by her second husband GIBBS.

So the LAWLER children should have J W Lawler as their biological father and General GIBBS as their adoptive father.

Some of the children are marked private so might be duplicates of others. If possible could you also please merge these - or tag them somehow so I can ask the other profile manager.

Lillie Grace TURNER was in GENI three times - and I have merged 2 and the other I think is waiting on a pending merge (or maybe I did that one - not exactly sure)

My cousin is the manager for one of my young sons' profiles (J___ Denius). Can someone get it switched to be me? Thank you all for being so helpful.

Private User Go to his profile. Under Actions, you will find Management where you can request management

We can't switch it, but you can request management, from the profile (go up to "Actions" and click on "manager options" -- you send a request from the popup box.

And contact your cousin and ask that she or he turn the management over to you -- once you are one of the managers, they can easily simply relinquish management.

See if that works.

Wrong century marriage between Helena Stenkilsdotter, Queen of Swedenand Jon Sigurdsson

According to the years of birth, there are circa 92 years between them and unfortunately, they were most likely never married if she wasn't married post mortem. It would have been a gruesome sight, it would have been a minor hell to be a consummation witness to that marriage... Please just separate them, don't let someone just ridicule this site and it's user. This relationship could have been set up to test if you are awake or sleeping or to sort out the totally brain dead from the living.

Help I cant view my tree its coming up I dont have permission??? Joanne Overend this is my profile.

Greetings, i have just found Two separate trees that need to be merged,

could a Curator please assist . Private

and his wife and underlings , and William Chick Voss and wife , and underlings would all match each other, thanking you in advance , warmest regards angelina

Another one i am having troubles merging is Private

and this one Private

with her second husband roy Private

Angus Wood-Salomon Thanks, it looks fine!

Angel,
The green ball with the x2 in the center is part of "Geni magic'. There is actually just one profile of Roy. If you click on it it will move to another relationship in his tree. If you click on it again you'll see the original tree view. The first tree view shows you that he's married to Valerie. The second tree view shows you who his parents are. There is apparently a 'special' relationship between the two of them.

I often come across these green balls with numbers in them in tree view. Here's an easy example of what causes thes balls to appear.. If a man marries his deceased wife's sister the green ball will appear with a x2 in the center. If he marries another of the sisters the green ball will x3 in the center.

Need help in merging these two profiles
