Hello, I'm new here but I would like to ask for you,curators for some help in merging my relatives for me consider i've created my own then merged myself but i can't seem to merge my mother(Pamela Dana Court Swonke) and please merge this Pamela swonkes below if you don't mind:

if you don't mind merging them for me please, considering I've requested a merge but it still hasn't happened yet. And I found yall using yahoo search engine and found this one from the old forum.

Would it be possible for Curators to approach Geni in regard to changes to profile Timelines, it might be of assistance to many if we could record details on immigration, origin and destination, departure & arrival dates, name of Ship etc, whilst this information may be stored elsewhere and it is it is not immediately available for perusal you must search for it and often well you just don't know where people might store that information.

Do you know how to create custom events on the timeline? I do it all the time, including for immigration events. The ones that are "built in" to Geni profiles are meant to serve all of history, so are "the big seven" vital statistics. But in fact you can use the timeline tab to record anything relevant to the life of the person you are profiling.

In addition many people use Geni Projects to collect profiles for events, such as the passengers of a ship. The largest one I know of is this one:

This profile has an incorrect merge:John Martin, of Piscataway combines Piscataway John with plymouth John (John Martin, of Plymouth) Please separate the bad merge so the correct profiles can merged instead.

(Should be just John and Suzan as parents of Piscataway John--I'm guessing that this happened as part of the merge on Nov 14 at 11:33 PM, but I can't tell for sure.)

There might be extra children connected to John Martin, of Piscataway , there are more connected to him then listed in the About section.

Let me check to see if I can find more info on his children, the dau. Ester sounds like a possibility, could of been named after her mother. And since the extra's were entered by the same person if one is correct then the others possibly.

Please disconnect Waite Clark as a child of John Clark, of West Haven and his wife Abigail Ambrose. The child born in 1700 was Eunice, not Waite or White and no records found to substantiate him as a child of this couple.

The manager removed her contact button and has been unresponsive to previous questions. Thanks!

Rose Levin and Harry 'Archie' Levin are currently shown with 4 children on Geni. We would need to know who are the correct parents of those four children before splitting their parents' relationship

The son Lemuel attached to her should be a son of John and Rebecca Humphreyville (Clark) as their youngest son.

I'm responding to the thread started by my 5th cousin Moshe Binyamin Blidstein Moshe Binyamin Blidstein. Harry 'Archie' Levin Harry "Archie" Levin IS our relative.

"Rose Kessler Levin" is NOT married to our Harry Levin. She, and that Harry, and their whole tree, needs to be separated from ours. The "Harry Levin" that needs to be removed from our tree siblings were: Gertrude Blumenthal, Minnie Karey, and Ida Bernstein. He and Rose had 3 children: Selma Graber, Diana Scharmett, Howard Levin

Thank you for your help! I'm not sure how I screwed this up, it's such a problem with Geni that I can't fix things. My own father's death I couldn't mark without permissions from someone else. Very upsetting.

The other day I'd posted a question about sources not showing up in my profiles. Anne-Marie helped me realize it's my computer or my browser. I'm wondering about smart matches with findagrave. A while ago profiles were connecting matches between my geni profiles and findagrave, several of which I confirmed. After findagrave was bought out by ancestry it seems that geni/myheritage no longer is matching findagrave info. I'm wondering the smart matches that were confirmed prior, is that info still connected to my geni profiles? I've figured out how to view the sources that I've added to profiles; so I can find findagrave sources if I added them, but not if they were smart matches. Did the findagrave smart match info disappear? Or am I just not looking hard enough or in the right spot?

Thanks Erica, i will take a look at it.

Jill Anne Bogdanowicz-Wilson for my profiles the FindAGrave SmartMatches disappeared. As you note this was a business decision by Ancestry.com when they bought FindAGrave.

Curators, Can you please remove ex-wife/partner on my profile as soon as possible?
