Please mark her as deceased. Thank you,
I'm sorry to hear of your mother's death.
That is something the Customer Service (CS) needs to do for you.
It isn't possible for a Geni Curators to switch the manager of a claimed profile to deceased.
Down at the bottom of every Geni page there is a row of things you can click on. One of them is the' Help' button. Here is the link to the answer of your question.
How do I report a profile as Deceased?
http://help.geni.com/entries/20470882-How-do-I-report-a-profile-as-...
If a relative has passed away, and you do not see the option to update their living status on their profile, it is likely that your relative has claimed their profile with their email address. You may report the profile as deceased. Once it is reported, birthday and anniversary reminders for your relative will be disabled.
CS will resolve the report by unclaiming the profile and updating the living status of the profile to deceased. Once the report is resolved, you and your family will be able to edit your relative’s profile.
Steps to report a profile as deceased:
*1 Navigate to their profile page
*2 Click Actions
*3 Choose Report
*4 Select "Deceased" as the reason
Since you have a link to her Obit, you can include it again in your request. It wil help CS to verify her death.
You can also ask CS to make you the manager of the 8 profiles she managed on Geni.

Someone who apparently don't know anything about history, have made a mess and deleted some profiles and or moved them around just like someone shuffling a deck of card in the tree around this two profiles, https://www.geni.com/people/Odinkar-den-store-Tokesen/6000000007183...
https://www.geni.com/people/Pallig-Tokesen-Ealdorman-of-Devonshire/...
Are there any chance to have that person blocked and the profiles redone?
"This someone was me ( Anette Guldager Boye ) . Curator of Pallig Tokesen and Danish historians. apperently Ulf things he nows more than the Danish historians on the subject. I told him earlier today to ask the Dansih National museum and that of the history faculties if he did believe what I said. Insted he chooses this course."
My answer.
It has nothing to do with what I think, I just follow what's available in the sources. Apparently he himself, Odinkar Tokesen, claimed to be of royal descendants, pointing to the very few available danish kings that ruled before him. How many are there?
Well it starts with
Gorm den gamle 934- 958
Then you have
Harald Blåtand 958-986
after him
Sven Tveskägg 986-1014
Since it obvious that Odinkar became bishop around 1003-1005, he must have been adult, he had before that studied and must have been born before 980, since he died 1043 he would then have been 63 years old, at a minimum, because he could have been born earlier. Since it is established that his father was Jarl Toke, (Toke Earl), it would be impossible that any of the above mentioned kings could be anything else than a grandfather to Odinkar, leaving us with the question who was the father of Toke?
Some are reffering to a rune stone where Toke Gormsen is mentioned as a "drott" (=King or jarl), to be the proof that Gorm the old were his father, since no other contemporary Toke Jarl exist, he should then most likely have been the right father to Odinkar.
This I corrected by merge him in to the right place, before that he was set up as a son to a man who was said to be born around 1000, yes, another later Toke, and by the way, not the same as the earlier one. The thing is that there are only 3 children establish to be the son of Gorm who are
recognized as genuine by the Danish self acclaimed know it all with the right to dismiss any one claiming otherwise. Well, what's cut in the granite before paper become the common way to preserve history doesn't mean a thing according to this so called experts. I at the other hand do not only see it as a true son, historically proven, but I also see it as even more genuine since paper can be forged, the stone not.
Thank you for having me been blocked for correcting others mistakes.

I cannot seem to add a profile to a project. Can someone help add Lamberton Clark to the Daughters of the American Revolution - Patriots project http://www.geni.com/projects/Daughters-of-the-American-Revolution-P...
Thanks.
re Isabella of Bar de Namur and Renaud of Bar de Namur
when I open these profiles I see no family relations at all, but in the profiles of their parents they are listed as children!
Anyway, they do have the wrong father.
Their father is of course Theobald I, count of Bar and not Walram III, Herzog von Limburg (both husbands of their mother Ermesinde de Namur, countess of Luxemburg)

I came across here when looking for a duplicate of William of Dampierre that I couldn't find
Martin: I think I separated the two Madeleine's properly, and removed Isaac's parents.
I did *not* do anything with the bit of a mess around Chretien (tree view: http://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000004214709092).
Hello!
John Bush, of Hampshire needs to get detached from two of his four parents -- Elijah and Nancy, who are born about 300 years later on a different continent are not the correct one. Nope.
thanks!
Can we detach David Powell from his parents?
I haven't found any evidence of known parents for him, and the father he's got here, Gruffydd ap Madog, did indeed have a son Dafydd, but it's not this David.
thanks, Anne
has five parents; according to the About section the correct ones are John Hugh and Martha Hugh (Caimot) and that seems reasonable to me, given what I can find on the net.
thanks!
Please correct the mother of Mary Phelps and Hannah Humphrey.
The correct mother is Mary Phelps and not the current listed parent whom he married after 1703.
I messaged the manager but he has not been on in a month.
Thank you.
Could somebody please undo the recent merge on Jacoba Petronella Johanna Swanepoel
As the profile is at the moment (after the merge) she gave birth to her "daughter" at the age of 80 and passed away two years later. Angus Wood-Salomon this merge was completed after you MP'd the profile.
There are about 6 other profiles with data conflicts in my merge center. All merges by the same person and in the same family. I can only start looking at these when this merge has been undone. There are also as many tree matches that could go wrong if this is not attended to soon.
Thank you.
Can you tell if these are claimed historical profiles?

This person Jacoba Petronella le Roux born in 1962 created those profiles but she is showing her mother as Jacoba Petronella Johanna Swanepoel b.1885
I did find another tree with a similar name http://www.geni.com/family-tree/index/6000000006571590025#600000000...
Thank you Angus Wood-Salomon I will Check on the two van Rooyen profiles and see if I can find anything.
Angus Wood-Salomon unfortunately I can't view the tree you mentioned with the similar name. I get aa message saying I don't have permission to view the tree.
