Maren Falch - Maren Falch ???!!!!????

Private User made that change according to the revisions, not Tove
Before changing back to Peter Jacobsen Falch and Anna Joensdatter I would know the arguments for his change.

I'm sorry, you should correct my mistake.
I can't remember but I believe it was a conflict from an older merge between Lars Falch and Lars (Lauritz) Falch where Maren was listed as a parent of Lars Falch, instead of removing Maren as parent I added here as parent by mistake.

Could anyone locate those profiles?

Trying to figure out where things went wrong, this is my take on that:

The older merge between Lars Falch and Lauritz Petterssøn Falch is probably not correct and the first Lars Falch should have been merged with Unknown Profile which is Maren Pedersdatter Falch son. This corresponds with the merge profiles I can see in the history of the two.

I think Unknown Profile should be merge with Maren Pedersdatter Falch and Lauritz Petterssøn Falch parents set back to Petter Jacobsen Falch and Anne Jonsdatter

" Maren Falch should be merge with Maren Pernille Pettersdatter Falch and Lars (Lauritz) Falch parents set back to Petter Jacobssøn Falch and Anne Jonsdatter, på Tjøtta". This is correct according to several sources mentioned above.
And why not set his name to: Lauritz Petterssøn Falch, instead of: Lars (Lauritz) Falch ??
Maren Pernille Pettersdatter Falch and Lauritz Petterssøn Falch are sister/brother.
Is that possible ?

Probably one more issue.

Are Unknown Profile and Lauritz Petterssøn Falch the same ?
There seems to be more then one "merge" issue in this part of the tree.

DIfference parents, so there must be some error here.

Not the same:

Laurits Peterson Falch is son of Maren Pernille Pettersdatter Falch, who's brother is Lauritz Petterssøn Falch.

The dates on the two profiles matches and http://www.nermo.org/slekt/d0028/g0000063.html#I6238 , http://www.solhellingadata.no/Rune/Slekt/html/fam/fam03975.html and http://home.online.no/~kskauen/falk1001.htm#id1654 does not list any child of Maren named Laurits.

I've tried to match the two Laurits:

and
1. Lauritz Petterssøn Falch
2. Hans Lauritzen Falch
3. Svend Hansen Falch, Seierstad-Martha Hansdatter Falch

Everything seems to align both with names and dates, but at 4. there seems to be a something strange going on with the parents of Rebekka.

Can someone please verify the profiles I've listed ?

Hmm... Glad to learn that it seemes like I`ve got this mother-of-Lauritz-part of my Geni-tree correct all the time then. :-) Also, this would be in harmony with two old trees in my position, written by hand. One of them I got from my late Dad and he, most likely, from the family to his grandma Lise Kristine Hansdatter Tverå (Tveraa) from Offersø, Tjøtta, Alstahaug, married to Edvin Tverå in my home town Mosjøen. I remember so well the day Mom took me to visit my great grandma for the first time, not long before she past away in 1950, 91 years old. It was not before I was in my 40-ties I learned that the ancestry to this lovely old lady sitting in her rocking chair with a shawl around her, went back to both the Falch / Valkenier and the Angel family - and far beyond... I wonder if she knew. Guess she didn`t. Genealogy and our family trees was never a (big) topic when I grew up, as I can recall.

From the evidence I got, the profiles should be merge, so if none tells a different story within a few day I will correct the profiles according to my findings.
