Every other source I have seen besides geni list the paternal grandfather of @Seth Ward (1613 - September 28, 1711) as John Ward (b. 1570). All other sources list this John as paternal grandfather of Seth. What the other websites say make the least sense since it would mean that his father would of been 15 when Seth was born and his wife Mary would of been only 11. Why is it though that other websites put John Ward (b. 1598) and Mary Ward (b. 1602) as Seth's parents when they would've been so young? I'm assuming that whoever made this profile saw how young they would've been, so they made the John Ward born in 1570 as Seth's father instead of grandfather like all other sites have. (One thing I read on a site not relating to genealogy was that the legal minimum age of marriage in England in the 1600s was 12.) What do you think about this? Can I feel certain that the John born in 1570 was Seth's father?
