Ja, but the een seun could be Jacques, not Philippe. I read somewhere about his job - but I'm getting a bit cross-eyed at the moment. Better someone with clear eyes takes a look.

Yes, I was wondering if that was proof enough to change him, his wife & her mom's death places - presently set at the Cape. Then I saw one note that suggested that he, at least, returned to SA, and another that pointed out there was no proof of this. Then I got a headache... :-)

And I think we won't worry Daniel Jacobus Botes, g2h3 with the further puzzle of what to do if the SM & the PROG get BACK on the boat after landing :-) :-)

This is now sacred ground!
I am sorry to say that once you have landed on SA soil, you can never shed your acquired status.
It is similar to a family line that has stopped producing descendants.
So bored doing nothing and having time to fill my empty hours, I might just consider inviting questions for a small fee!!
