My alleged 11th-great-grandmother here doesn't appear to exist outside of this Geni result:

That's always a wee bit of a red flag. :) Marking this profile with a discussion thread so I/we can look into it further.

There's an Anna *Tapp* here who could possibly fit. She is listed as having married a William Gibbard and having a daughter named Mary in 1644. The migration pattern would be unusual, though, and I would be surprised if there were that many children yet no connection had yet been made? And also if Mary's marriage/death/descendants hadn't been traced yet, considering the other lines in particular. My spidey-sense thinks there's some kind of confusion going on here.

iii. Mary Gibbard, born January 20, 1643/44 in New Haven,New Haven County,Connecticut; died Unknown."

Is this Mary Tripp really Esther Tapp? Or does the error come in further downstream? Or, did Esther die early and Jeremiah marry her younger sister Mary next? If that's the case, are descendants coming down through the right woman?

(Note that I'm mostly just listing these questions as reminders for myself; don't feel compelled to do my research for me unless you're invested somehow and really want to help.)
