King Béla was exceptionally tall, even by today's standards. Archaeologists have measured his skeleton and found him to be over 2 metres tall (6.5-ish feet, for you imperial system users). I just thought I would share this interesting fact!

Rather interesting as he is my 27th great grandfather on my father's side and my 3rd cousin 25 times removed on my mother's side.
What makes interesting to me is none of my father's family, mom, dad or siblings were over 5'9" (under 2 mitres) but on my mother's side her brother was around 6'4" and her mother, herself and several others on that side were consider to be tall.

Forgot to add that both my brother and I are 6 foot or more.
