proof of connection

From the time I joined Geni, I liked this connection, (my connection to British Royalty) :) ,but while printing a certain 'tree limb' the other day, I find I cannot link the above Duke of Brittany with:

Sir Miles Stapleton Sir Miles Stapleton

According to the info on Geni, the duke had a son (which he did) named Jean de-dreus-Earl of Richmond
Jean de Dreux, Earl of Richmond

Then Geni site says Earl of Richmond, had a daughter named Isabella who married Stapleton, which would be the link to Miles Stapleton. (Great if true).

I have spent 2 days searching, and the only mention of this link is on Geni. I read in different places, that the Duke of Richmond had no children. I am so hoping someone can link this for me, I am so bummed out not to be connected to the Henrys.
