Anne Howard (née Dacre), According to http://www.ancientfortresses.org/tower-of-london-prisoners.htm - Implicated with Catherine Howard - Was she actually imprisoned at the Tower or only put under house arrest in the home of Sir Thomas Shirley in 1593

You can read online a fascinating, highly partial but well-informed account of the lives of my ancestors Anne Dacre and Philip Howard, entitled "The lives of Philip Howard, earl of Arundel, and of Anne Dacres, his wife" by Henry Granville Fitzalan-Howard, 14th Duke of Norfolk, 1815-1860, Publisher: London, Hurst and Blackett. The URL is https://archive.org/stream/cu31924090788542#page/n0/mode/2up.

In this book it is does not appear that Anne Dacre was imprisoned in the Tower of London, but she was indeed under house arrest in the home of Sir Thomas Shirley in 1582-3, during which time she gave birth to her daughter.
