we need to contac mr Michael Yeats and say that he do false genealogy

Aubrey de Vere, I, Sheriff of Berkshire

Please read the profile notes for Aubrey de Vere, I, Sheriff of Berkshire.

oh the name spelling have change

Alphonse de Vere Katherine (Flandre) De Flandre

i have take reading in part but its not complete bio i go with evidence from other that have worked freely on this mr Swanström

and as you may look at
http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/De_Vere-290
and other info that i have pasted it is ok

Wikitree is an amateur site like Geni. It is like looking at Geni to prove Wikitree is wrong. Instead, you have to look for better sources.

Try this one. It is linked in the profile notes.
http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/ENGLISH%20NOBILITY%20MEDIEVAL1.htm#...

Or just look at French Wikipedia:
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alb%C3%A9ric_de_Vere

i have realy try to read the first link you provide mr Swanström
but it was normalized english as madam Howton say before from another idea with alot of eronous name (translation) not to mention.

you have probably look at consequence ( dont know a word in english ) of merging the 2

Unknown Father of Aubrey de Vere

Alphonsus Count of Ghesnes de Vere, comte de Guînes

it all change the view of nobility ( all side)

Martin, it's always a struggle to fix problems when people merge profiles that shouldn't be merged. I locked more fields on Unknown Father to help keep this profile from being contaminated.

contamined //// its like illegitimate once again lolll

we dont genealogy to keed locked on geni as the site sugjest

i got another discution pending

http://www.geni.com/discussions/142242?msg=979915

any idea mr Swanström madam Howton of parentage? you acept that a good long genealogy and proven has a stop on this site

maybe in 500 years after all the logs on internet and records been digitalyse(and mysteriously disapear) i will agree with you 2 that we dont have parentage

Martin: Geni says: Alberic / Aubrey "Sanglier" de Vere, Sheriff of Berkshire is your 27th great grandfather.!

I do not feel comfortable that the evidence submitted thus far, or the historical records I am aware of, supports anything except

"Parents unknown."

i doubt myself or acuracy madam Howton 27th great grandfather i am sur geni miss few generation and alot of sibling...

parents know from french genealogy site!

the works have been done
do reshearch its available to public.

29th gf now

i think after reread you where talking about you be related to
Erica Howton

and my reply to

i doubt myself or acuracy madam Howton 27th great grandfather i am sur geni miss few generation and alot of sibling...

was from me.... i am as geni say
29th great grandfather.

just in case

martin

Martin - yes, I would doubt the descent line from Alberic to me on Geni is 100% accurate, and my priority is to validate backwards, from me, checking each link & validating. Using this method I am, after 4 years, at about year 1650 :):). On some lines :):):)

So it will take me another 16 years to validate a year 1000 ancestor. :):)

An argument "it's a French genealogy site therefore it's right" is meaningless.

i belive also your line is 100%

for mine i doubt those 29 gf i can go up just by french sides as for parents
(not on geni) for now

so you think parent maybe english ?
lets try to found them

Yes.

Let's try to find them, Cousin Martin.

benjamin

i wil read all the work and informative you can add in this discution

I am also curoous. Which begs the question. When a person does a search, like the one above, and a lineage is made, then that link is removes, as clearly in the above case, it was, I think... And this is just my opinion here. i think that a log file should be created at the bottom of the page that shows what the link "used" to be... I guess what I'm saying is.. The owners of these profiles are apparently able to make changes without recording why nor documenting the previous changes so, the best answer right now anyone could give Wil is, "because he wanted to", lol... This site so far as I've seen is a great site... Thwre is just alot of grey area open right now as to how the data is managed... And that happens to be my speciality, data management. ~

Jeffery Mark Washington we do have revisions tab and discussions from profile. I can say that our Welsh curating team has been clarifying and sourcing for a while now, so changes in Ancient Wales should be for the better.
