Thank you for registering on the IGRA website. We are sure you have benefitted greatly from having access to the data and articles and information available on the website.
However, you can access so much more if you are a paid-up member of our organisation.
There is no doubt that IGRA is 'on the map' of world genealogy. We have been cited as such numerous times over the past year.
Our branches have held various lectures and presentations, and nationally we held a very successful event at Beit Hatfutsot in early October.
Thanks to our many volunteers across the country, and even the world, we are working on – and have completed – databases relating to Eretz Yisrael, which have been acclaimed and applauded by genealogists around the globe. We have begun a nationwide project of locating voters' lists for the time span of 1922-1947. These can be considered substitutes for census information that is not available. We already have posted those for: 1922 - Tel Aviv, 1925 - Jerusalem, 1928 - Jerusalem & Haifa, 1930, 1932 & 1936 - Petah Tikva, 1938-1939 - Bnei Brak, Raanana & Ramat-Gan, and 1944-1946 – Herzliya, Magdiel, Raanana, Ramat-Gan & Rishon Lezion.
And what is next? We will continue the above activities – and we are preparing for the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies' (IAJGS) 2015 conference – IN JERUSALEM! We cannot accomplish the above without your support – our membership fees remain the same as 2012 – NIS 120 ($36) for individuals, NIS 160 ($54) for a couple. The membership year begins in January, however those sending in membership dues now will enjoy membership through the end of 2014.
