Sir John D'Abernon of Stoke & Hedley - Fathers?

The cited source has his father as Gilbert d'Abernon & his grandfather as the other father (now disconnected) of Roger d'Abernon.

I tried to sort this out from the google book you referenced, but had no luck. If I can find a trustworthy source, I'll let you know.

I think we're missing profiles on Geni and that may help nail a time line better. And I suspect the actual father of Sir John d'Abernon the elder may not be known definitively and we'll need to make a judgment call on how to best present in Geni.
