I don’t believe there can be any improvement on the notes in the profile until possibly mtDNA studies, and even if they turn up a non native haplogroup, that wouldn’t rule out Indian ancestry for her, because apparently she was admixed herself. She’s outside the range of atDNA being definitive also. So it’s paper genealogy, historical studies, and logic at play here. Logic says she had native ancestry from a Virginia remnant tribe which may not even exist anymore.

The word "admixed" pretty much sums my heritage in a nutshell, not unlike most of us "Appalachian Americans"..... and ---- proud of it!

I don't understand why it shows no kinship between me and Elizabeth Grinstead since she is the 6th g-grandmother of Violet Mattie Depp who is my 11th cousin.

I'll just have to accept it at face value and concede that my earlier DNA report is still a vague mystery. I still have a lot of empty spaces in my family tree, too.

Anyway, there is quite an obvious family resemblance between Johnny Depp and Paul Jefferson Goad imho.
