I only have information for Elizabeth Slingsby as follows:
"Arthur Ingram married Elizabeth Slingsby, daughter of Sir Henry Slingsby, of Bart."
The other wife in question, Catherine Fairfax, does not exist in my records. She also has five husbands listed as relationships, which I find dubious...
Thanks for your help!
Esther, did you check if the parents you removed now are missing a son, daughter in law and grandchildren? (Hugh 'the younger' Ingram, II and Anne Ingram, Baroness)
Errors like this are usually caused by a bad merge, and just cutting loose one of the parents sets could be fixing your own tree by destroying another.
Usually we have to add a new child of the parents we cut loose, replacing the child that got a bad merge, and moving spouses and children that should be attached to him/her over to the new profile.
Hi Bjørn, I did have to add back and merge in the children of Arthur II to re-complete the tree.
I have also correctly merged in Hugh 'the younger' Ingram, II and Anne Ingram, Baroness that you mention, who are in fact the paternal grandparents of Arthur Ingram II.
