Rev. James Anderson - Is this really the James Anderson who wrote the Masonic Constitution?

While the first part of the additional information for this James Anderson's profile seems plausible, I'm not sure if he is the same James Anderson who moved from Scotland to London and wrote the Masonic Constitution:

It appears that the latter spent his entire life working and writing in England.

I am descended from John Anderson (c. 1704-1756) and Ann Moore (c. 1705 - c. 1758) through their son James Anderson (1731-1802) and just want to confirm his grandfather's information before I add it to my tree or merge my tree with this one.
