Jeg fikk denne meldingen fra GENI:
Lifetime Subscription
Jan 09 11:22
Dear Marsha ,
You have recently contacted us to express concern about the discontinuation of lifetime accounts at Geni,
and their conversion to 5-year subscriptions. We would like to remind you that for any customer who is dissatisfied,
we offer a full refund on the lifetime subscription, and post-refund they will get to keep a Pro subscription
for 5 years for free, as well as keep the 5-year MyHeritage data subscription we have granted to previous lifetime
accounts for free. Please contact us if you wish to receive this refund so we can coordinate its payment to you.
Best regards,
Charles
OG HER ER MITT SVAR PÅ DEN:
Hi
I have an appointment with Geni.com lifelong Subscriptions and that's the only thing I want from you.
When Geni.com be bought by someone, follow Geni.com agreements entered into with the purchase. That you know as well as me. You are legally obligated to handle Geni.com agreement has been signed with me and everyone else. This, too, you know very well.
That you do not like these lifelong Subscriptions are a matter between the buyer and seller of Geni.com. This, too, you know as well as me.
That you are trying to reduce the number of life-long deals are not illegal, but to exert undue pressure is unethical and possibly illegal. I know you know all this, it's advisors told you - but you are trying to reduce the number of lifelong Subscriptions, by getting the respondent to believe that they have no rights.
No other country in the world has better consumer protection than the U.S. so you will lose this case if it ends up in court. This, too, you know, but you try to reduce the number of such contracts so that your cash flow improves.
To me this does not work!
I DEMAND that my lifelong subscription will continue.
Sincerely
Marsha Johansen
