Same here Sharon came with a lovely French surname and was just to difficult to spell. So up to today they all still g as Bruwer. Estienne just looks so much fancier and blue blooded. ( Blou bloed)

I also think the original accent marks are worth cutting and pasting in if we have them.

Nothing to do with anything but here is a nice video of the place where I was born the Aebrechtskade in Delfshaven Rotterdam
Nothing has changed there for 100'rds of years all the original houses are still there dating back to the early 1600's, so you can see where some of the people boarded the ships

If you ever go to Holland, Delfshaven and Rotterdam is a must , there are many musea with treasures relating to emigration and shipping , the Maritime museum for example, probably have loads of info on people who went to SA
