Where on Geni is Lucifer, The Fallen Angel?

10/30/2012 at 10:18 PM

On an isolated tree set to private so that you can't search for him.

10/30/2012 at 10:22 PM

Shouldn't he be part of the Biblical Genealogy Project?

10/30/2012 at 10:26 PM

More seriously where would you connect him if you were to try and do so?

While we are discussing the big issues, how do we know that Unknown Profile was born in Moldova??

10/30/2012 at 10:31 PM

What was he born to? I am assuming that if he created us in his own image, he must have been born to parents that would look human -- what do you think?

10/30/2012 at 10:32 PM

This is the very first time in my life that I hear that God was even born somewhere!

10/30/2012 at 10:35 PM

If God was born in Moldova, who created Moldova?

10/30/2012 at 10:40 PM

According to Dimitrie Cantemir and Grigore Ureche, prince Dragoș naming the river after hunting an aurochs: after the chase, his exhausted hound Molda drowned in the river, the dog's name was given to the river and extended to the Principality.

So the logical conclusion from this assortment of "facts" would be that prince Dragoș created Moldova, and it would follow that God is actually Romanian.

I hope you're not suggesting that Nebuchadnezzar II created Moldova?
"Them's fightin words!"

Excerpt from Wikipedia on Nebuchadnezzar II

Helel, Son of the Morning
Chapter 14 of the Book of Isaiah refers to what Jewish exegesis of the prophetic vision of Isaiah 14:12-15 identifies as King Nebuchadnezzar II; the Hebrew word says "Helel ben Shaḥar" ("the shining one, son of the morning").[17] It is a taunting prophecy against an oppressive king.[18] In Isaiah 14,[19] the king is being mocked, as he is struck through with a sword, killed, and thrown into a common grave. Although mainstream Christianity attributes this passage to the fall of Lucifer because verse 20 says that this king will not be joined with the others in burial, but rather be cast out of the grave, most scholars believe that these passages cannot be about a fallen angel, assuming that the king referred to in these passages is killed. Likewise, it is usually claimed that by the word "Helel ben Shaḥar", the Morning Star is meant; but Isaiah gives no intimation whatsoever that Helel is a star.[20]

Nope, In response to your earlier question, I am merely suggesting that Nebuchadnezzar II is Lucifer, The Fallen Angel.

Why does Geni allow two supposedly identical profiles on God? Shouldn't Unknown Profile and God Almighty . be merged into one? Is it because the one born in Heaven is superior to the one born in Maldova?

10/30/2012 at 10:58 PM

Is the Heavenly God superior to the earthly God from Maldova?

10/30/2012 at 11:00 PM

Easy solution then to just add "Lucifer" and "Satan" to the Also Known as field in Nebuchadnezzar II's profile?

10/30/2012 at 11:03 PM

Seems reasonable to assume that the Heavenly God is superior to the earthly God from Moldova.
Perhaps the logic for two profiles is due to the age gap between God's two "sons" (ie Jesus in the year 0 and Adam in -4000BC) being too large for Geni's software to accomodate?

Good one! I like your last comment. It was fun!

Likewise, i think we not only answered a few of western philosophies largest mysteries but we had fun doing it too.
Bravo!
