Anyone with info. as to whether or not the two people above are related to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow?
Martha- (1860-1907) & her father- Lemuel (1828-1900)

Lemuel is the son of Joseph Longfellow (1766-1865), Joseph son of John & Elizabeth Longfellow, John believed to be son of a Joseph Longfellow. Unable to connect with the poet.
I am a grandson of the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow who was a farmer and well driller in Taylor County, Iowa and was the grandson of Lemuel and Mary Taletha Purcell Longfellow through their son Joseph Purcell Longfellow.
