Pessoal, vamos começar a postar aqui nossas sugestões de Perfis do Dia, respeitando o calendário (nascimento ou falecimento) do mês, ou já para o mês seguinte.

Podemos e devemos emplacar pelo menos um perfil brasileiro/português por mês.

Por favor, cite alguns requisitos para que um perfil possa ser eleito PERFIL DO DIA, por exemplo: deve estar ligado à Big Tree, etc.etc.

Não sei de nenhum pré-requisito. Talvez a Amanda (que é a pessoa do Geni que administra esta questão) utilize alguns critérios mas eu não os conheço.

Perdi a oportunidade de oferecer o mestre Nei Lopes para maio. Ele completou 70 anos no último dia 9. E fez isso lançando um livro novo (Dicionário da Hinterândia Carioca) e lançando novamente um livro antigo (Novo Dicionário Bantu do Brasil) revisto e ampliado. Fica para 2013.

Bom, para qualquer mês , eu gostaria de ter "Cora Coralina" . Ela não está na árvore , mas podemos começar.
Ela é uma grande mulher!

Just a thought :-) ... I suppose you're talking about the 'global' Profile of the Day? How about doing a 'Portal Profile of the Day'? I think it can be done by running it as a special project, invite users to follow it, AND invite users to participate in the selection? If you give it a good name, it may also be caught by the Internet search engines, after a while. You might call it 'Perfil Brasileiro do Dia', or something like that?
Just thinking aloud. Perhaps we should do this in other countries as well. Good/Bad idea?

In fact, Lucy has already commented to me about how to make a "calendar". And I could not put it into practice. Now you gave us the solution.

I sent a message to Amanda, who manages Geni's Profile of the Day, to have her tjhoughts. But, I think this can be perfectly organized by Geni users like ourselves. We just need to make sure we properly use the project titles so that search engines pick it up. In addition, I would suggest to set up a parallel Facebook page. We have done that for the New Amsterdam projects, so there's already a bit of experience with those things.
I think that the greatest outcome should be: to highlight Brazilian/Portuguese profiles, and to involve all the users in the process! Let's all search for birth dates, death dates, and for people that had an impact on our countries and cultures! :-)
I'm sure we'll have it all worked out by this weekend :-)

Penso que ela pode ser adicionada em outros projetos. E aqui não é local para discutir isso....mas só de modelos lindas que nosso País produz, podemos criar um projeto só delas.

For June 21, birthday of the most important Brazilian writer of all time: Machado de Assis. Acabei de sugerir, embora a árvore esteja isolada... :-(
